I didn’t catch all of the game last night, but I saw most of it. What I did catch of it is this: Hyde returning punts, Lacy ruining defenders, Aaron Rodgers breaking records, Peppers picks, and Defense making plays.
So where did this all come from? Confidence. If the Packers were playing like this from game one I think they would have had every bit of skill to knock off the Seahawks, and The Lions. They were only missing confidence, and they got that confidence by a five letter word, R-E-L-A-X.
There’s a couple things the Packers do that always give them success. Those things include: short dump-off passes to Lacy, and throwing over the middle. You just can’t stop Eddie Lacy, he’s too big, and too strong. Give him a little speed, then throw one off to him and you’ve got a 230 pound monster running at you at top speed. How couldn’t it work?
When will this success end? Do I dare say they’re a Super Bowl team? Well the Packers only have two more important games, New England and Detroit. They’re 7-3, tied in the division with Detroit. I’d say they have the skill to win those games, especially the Lions game. They just have to keep that confidence, they have to relax.
